What is a CBD flower?

CBD flower is the dried bud of a hemp plant. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which gives you a high, CBD is not psychoactive. It is not intoxicating.

Registered farmers can grow strains of hemp that contain high levels of CBD and very little, less than 0.3% THC.

Where does CBD flower come from?

CBD is a shortened form of cannabidiol, a phytocannabinoid derived from cannabis species. Cannabinoids are commonly found in marijuana and hemp. But CBD flower can only come from hemp plants with low THC content.

What is hemp?

What are cannabinoids?

Due to its ability to autoflower, ruderalis can be used to breed new cannabis strains. Although not desirable on its own for recreational or medicinal purposes, when crossed with high quality indica/sativa/hybrid strains, ruderalis can endow the resulting strain with the autoflowering property.
