What are the benefits of seaweed?
Marine algae are subject to harsh conditions as they are constantly damaged by tidal currents and changing temperatures. If the environment is right, they should grow very quickly. Seaweeds can grow up to 100 times faster than our field plants and contain 100s of useful bioactive compounds. Quality algae products can help plants improve drought, heat stress, cutting injury, nutrient deficiencies, fertility, colouring, gut health and storage.

- Polyamines, florotannins and auxin found in concentrations in Kelpak are responsible for germination and fertilization.
- It enhances pollen germination and pollen plug growth, thereby promoting fertilization and crop binding. Moderates fruit drop, increases fruit size, colour and sugar content.
- Increases yield, thus ensuring a return on investment. Improves shelf life, reduces deterioration during storage.
- Danuba's algae products are extracted using a gentle freezing and high-pressure extraction process, which results in a much more efficient final product than traditional chemical extraction.
Suggested use:
- can be used in field and horticultural crops, organic farming.
- dosage 1-3 litres/ha.
Storage and transport:
Retains its quality for 18 months if stored in a dry warehouse, protected from direct sunlight, at 5-25°C, in its original packaging. Danuba products require an application temperature below 25°C for optimum effect.
