Medihemp Organic Hemp Essence CBG Oil 5% 10ml is a non-psychoactive substance that acts on the central nervous system.

What is CBG?
Cannabigerol (CBG) is a cannabinoid that was discovered in the 1960s along with CBD (cannabidiol) and other cannabinoids.
After its discovery, further studies were carried out to understand the biology of the cannabis plant. In 1975, researchers managed to isolate cannabigerolic acid (CBGa), the acidic version of CBG.
The researchers found that CBGa is broken down by the plant's natural enzymes into other acidic cannabinoids, namely THCA, CBDa and CBCa. These acids are then converted into THC, CBD and CBC when the plant is heated or aged (also known as decarboxylation).
